Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama has confirmed the release of a 30-hour special celebrating the iconic series’ most exciting and action packed moments, Spirit Bomb energy gathering.
Speaking to a large gathering in Tokyo, the hit series creator gathered energy from the crowd when making the announcement, with everyone throwing their hands in the air to give Toriyama their power.
“We know the most exciting moments of everyone’s childhood was watching Goku charge his Spirit Bomb for months on end,” he said to thunderous applause. “This release will be all of those jaw dropping moments packed into one special.”
“The Spirit Bombs used against Frieza, Buu and even in the crappy movies no one remembers are all featured.”
Rumors of a special had been building in the Dragon Ball community recently as it has been over 5 Namekian minutes since Super had finished and fans were getting anxious.
However, this reveal has stunned even the biggest of fans, with several reporting to have screamed so loud at the announcement they began to power up.
Future Trunks has confirmed the special will be released in July.
